“Saturday-Pentacle”
Post of the week –
An awesome Bicycle product which my friend recommended —
64 LED Bicycle Lazer Tail Light Wireless Remote MTB Bike Night Riding Turning Lamp Signal Safety Flashlight — I got the recommendation of this product from one of my Cycling group friends, It’s super awesome, It can be used to remotely indicate if you are going left or right. One more awesome feature is that it provides a Lazer trail on both sides which mark a line on both sides while you are riding a bike, It makes it super easy for others on the road to notice that a cyclist is riding. I’m looking forward to buy this one shortly.
Person I’m fascinated with —
Coach Urmi – Official Nike Training Coach, She is an inspiration and so full of energy and her Insta page is the reflection of that.
Check her Insta page for functional training tips and fitness motivation – @coach.urmi
What I’ve been listening to —
Masters of Scale Podcast – Especially the episode with Arianna Huffington (Founder of The Huffington Post, Thrive Global)
In this episode, Reid Hoffman (Founder of LinkedIn) talks to Arianna Huffington (Founder of The Huffington Post, Thrive Global). Arianna talks about a very important aspect of running the business – Learning when and how to recharge. She also talks about how she dramatically scaled the Huffington Post — and then experienced profound burnout. She now leads Thrive Global, which scales the idea of balance across an organisation. Really great podcast episode.
What I’m been watching —
Famous MKBHD on Hot Ones show By First We Feast (on YouTube)
This is an amazing show where the host Sean Evans makes their guest eat Chicken Wings and in some cases vegan wings (when guests are vegan or vegetarian) but the speciality of these wings is that they are dabbed with Spicy and super hot sauces and then he talks to them about their lives with all these interesting questions while their face is on fire. Really interesting.
Quote I’m pondering on lately –
“The ego always looks for information that confirms what it wants to believe. Basically, a big ego makes us have a strong confirmation bias.”
